Page 12—SUSQUEHANNA TIMES Comedy in Concert —a program of humor and music, presented by the Mount Joy Business and Professional Women by Ada K. Thompson On Saturday, April 21, the Mount Joy Business and Professional Women’s Club will present Mr. Mel Ehrin, noted pianist and comedian, at the Donegal High School Auditorium in a program entitled “*Comedy in Concert.”’ Mr. Ehrin is an inventive showman who combines a background of serious study with a talent for wit and comedy. His show appeals to all ages because he moves from classics to ragtime to boogie-woogie to jazz and back to classics. His pace is fast and ever changing. One minute the listener is enjoying an improvisation on Gershwin, Porter or Bacharach and then he will be amazed to hear voices of top recording stars doing commercials. Mel's counterpoint, play- ing one melody while singing a different song, is a show stopper. With the fun and hilarity, Mel offers ample serious piano play- ing for music lovers with such things as Polonaise, Chopin Waltzes, Warsaw Concerto, Clair de Lune, Liebestraum, Malaguena and many more. Mr. Ehrin is well known in this area, having performed in eastern Penn- sylvania for many years. More recently he has given concerts nationwide. All who have heard him are anxious to hear him again.
