Joycee-ettes busy this winter December and January have been very busy months for the Mount Joy Joycee-ettes. The month of December was filled with carolling, the Santa Breakfast in which all kids young and old enjoyed, the cookie exchange where the Joy- cee-ettes exchanged their favorite cookies and recipes with each other, and the Christmas meeting held at the home of Cheryl Hallgren with refreshments and a gift exchange. The January meeting was held at the Boro Hall the 16th with President Kathy Bower calling the meeting to order and Vickie Brown leading the Joycee- ette Creed. : Preparations are now being made for the Sweetheart King and Queen Contest chaired by Bev Swanson. Also underway is the Craft Day/Bazaar where anyone wishing to show his or her special craft may do SO. Entry forms will appear in the newspaper and at various locations around the area.
