plans activities for the coming year
The Mount Joy Welcome
Wagon is starting the new
year with fond memories of
a successful
service fund raising, fash-
ion show-card party,
Christmas party, caroling,
and much more. During
1978 our Welcome Wagon

newcomers, 129 new babies
and congratulated 25 new
ly engaged girls in the
Mount Joy area for a total
of 348 visits on behalf of
community
the club’s sponsors.
The club is planning
numerous socials and pro-
jects for the coming
months, including a draw-
ing for a $50.00 Watt and
Shand gift certificate.
Welcome Wagon members
will be selling tickets
costing $1.00 each for the
drawing which will be held
March 21, 1979. You need
not be present to win and
all proceeds will benefit
community service projects.
The monthly dinner
meeting will be held
January 17th at the Mount
Joy Legion at 6:30 P.M.
The program for the
evening is evergy conser-
vation (presented by P.P.
