January 10, 1979 Obituaries CHARLES E. SHEETZ " Charles E. Sheetz, 70, of 602 Church Street, Mount Joy, died at his home after an illness of several months. He was the husband of Beulah Hetrich Sheetz, to whom he was married for more than S1 years. He was a member of the Glossbrenner United Meth- odist Church, the Florin Fire Company, and the Friendship Fire Company No. 1. He was employed by the Fuller Company in Man- heim for 32 years. .He retired in 1973. He was born in Middle- town, a son of the late Uriah and Margaret Payne Sheetz. In addition to his wife, he is survived by these - children: Charles W. of Lancaster; Dorothy M., the wife of John Mohler of Ann Arbor, Michigan; Harry U. of Mount Joy; and Richard D., also of Mount Joy. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and a brother, John Sheetz, of Elyria, Ohio. NORMAN BLOTTENBERGER Norman B. Blottenberg- er, 76, of 204 West Elizabeth Street, Manheim, died at home after a year of illness. He was the ausband of Grace Bowers Blottenberger, who died in August of 1971. Until his retirement in 1967, he worked for the Armstrong Cork Comany. He was employed there for 26 years, and belonged to ° the company’s activities association. i He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Maytown. Born in Marietta, he was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a son of the late Daniel and Annie Maloney Blottenberger. Surviving are a daughter, Wilson B. Penwell, at home; a brother, Charles G. of Columbia; and a sister, Dewey H. Ressel of Lancaster. PEARL A. MARTIN Pearl A. Martin, 65, of 456 Donegal Springs Road, Mount Joy, died at home after a two-month illness. She and her husband, Johnson S. Martin, owned and operated Martin's S5&10 store on Main Street in Mount Joy for the past 38 years. She was a member of the Mount Joy Business and Professional Women’s Club. Born in Marianna in Washington County, -she was a daughter of the late Harry A. and Magdalene Gideon Shoup. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Johnson W. Martin of Mount Joy; a sister, ESther, the wife of Glen Johnston of Phoenix, Arizona; and a brother, Harry Shoup of Brogue, York County.
