Richard Kohler On Sunday, December 19, 1976, the 10:15 Wor- ship Hour at St. Mark's United Methodist Church will be a celebration for children. Miss Sharon Giv- ler, the congregation’s Associate in Ministry, will bring a children’s message; there will be both dedica- tion and baptism of infants: the Pastor, W. Richard Kohler, will address him- self to the theme, ‘“‘The Murder of Innocence.” A special feature of this ser- vice will be the bringing in, by members of the con- gregation, of layette sets and baby clothing for ship- ment to poor around the world. This will be done through Church World Service. The Chan- cel Choir will provide the music for the day singing “From Heaven Above” by Praetorius, the Siovak Carol, *‘Christmas Gather Round,’’, and ,Mueller’s “Create in Me a Clean children, Heart, O God.” In the evening of the 19th, the youth of St. Mark’s Church will present the three-act play. ‘‘Beth- lehem Alley.”” This pro- duction will be staged in the church's Fellowship Hall, beginning at 7 p.m. On December 26th, the Sunday after Christmas, the Morning Worship Hour (10:15) will feature a ladies choral selection entitled, “We Christians May Re- joice Today’ by Schalk. The entire Chancel Choir will sing two chorales from Bach’s ‘‘Christmas Orator- io.” They are ‘‘Break Forth, O Beuteous Heaven- ly Light’ and ‘‘Thee with Tender Care 1 Cherish.” The Pastor preaches on the theme, ‘A Faith for the Morning-After.”’ The community is cord- ially invited to join with the membership of St. Mark's Church in these services in celebration of the Birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
