Eshelman of Mount Joy was recently awarded an Honor Society annual scholarship for the 1978-79 academic year at Juniata College. Selection for the grant is based on grade point average; constructive, thoughtful and creative use of the program of empha- sis; and extracurricular activities. Eshelman, a junior en- fineering major, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Eshelman of Mount Joy, R.D.2, and a 1975 graduate of Donegal High School. Anne Spangler engaged | Mrs. Stanton R. Roeser Debra Lee Drager marries Stanton R. Roeser The marriage of Miss Debra Lee Drager to Mr. Stanton R. Roeser took \ Place on Saturday, Decem- ber 9th, at 10:30 AM in the English United Presbyter- ian Church in Marietta. The Rev. Thomas S. Wood officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harod Drager of Marietta RDI. She was given in marriage by her father. She wore a gown of white poly knit with a V neckline and fitted sleeves accented with maribu a- round the wrists. The Empire waist topped an A-line skirt. Her hooded, floor-length cape ended in a Chapel length train with both the hood and cape trimmed with maribu. She carried a cascade bouquet of sweetheart roses. Mrs. Barbara Hiestand of Maytown was matron of honor for her sister, the bride. Bridesmaids were: Mrs. Joyce Drager, Colum- bia RDI, sister-in-law of the bride; Ninette Barnett, RD1 Washington Boro, sister of the groom; and Denise Grimm Denise Grimm of Mari- etta was one of 43 student nurses who participated in to Kevin L. The bride-elect graduat- ed from Donegal High School and received a bachelor of science degree in consumer services from Indiana University of Penn- sylvania. She is employed as a decorating consultant by the Sherwin Williams Company in Lebanon. Mr. Smith is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James §. Smith of Ligonier. He graduated from Ligonier High School and attended the University of Pittsburgh and Technical Training School. He is employed as a carpenter by David Pusey Builders. Cindy McCarty, Columbia.
