Ask for the residential consultant who can supply you with materials and equipment specifications and builder information. v fo | August 23, 1978 School Board meets Zeer ana Meckley resign; new roof; discipline meeting The resignation of Miss Catherine Zeller, long-time Donegal Schools English teacher, was announced at last week’s meeting of the Donegal School Board. She had taught for 24 years at DHS, and 12 years before that at Mount Joy High School. She never taught in any other district. The board voted to send a letter and retirement bonus to Miss Zeller. School Board member Thomas E. Meckley also announced his resignation. A CPA, Mr. Meckley has been promoted by his firm (Ernst and Ernst) to the position of partner, in charge of the Allentown office of the firm. He and his wife, Sandra, are both life-time residents of Mount Joy. Meckley, who will not attend the next meeting, warned the board that they can expect problems in the future as different munici- palities in the district decide to exempt, or decide not to exempt, certain people from taxes. Under a new law, a municipality can exempt those earning less than $3200 a year. “This thing will become extremely complex,”’ said Meckley.
