Be- sides the regular play- ground activities and swim- ming lessons, two special events were held. On Scramble delighted the youngsters. Awards were given for finding different colored peanuts and for the most found. Winning prizes winners were: Jim Myers, Robin Custer, Lisa Myers, Abernathy, Leon Custer, Brenda Myers, Kelly Aber- nathy, Mindy Turek and Tina Martin. The children found relief from the heat Thursday afternoon in a balloon children, instructor ‘‘Teet’’ Gohn also found the battle to be quite refreshing. Special thanks to all who helped with swimming les- sons and to Ida Henderson who assisted with Arts and Crafts from the playground personnel. Wednesday a Peanut; Wendy Santiago, Brian battle.
