Eagle Scout Award during
a court of honor for Troop
#93 of Marietta. The award
was presented by Ike
Studholm, former scout-
master of the troop.
Randal also got the
Citizenship and Communi-
cations badges.
He also got a plaque for
helping the troop. He has
been a scout for nine years.

Community Council plans parade

The Mount Joy Commun-
ity Council held its Febru-
ary meeting in Borough
Hall, at which time ‘‘Pride
in Our Past” was selected
as the theme for Mount
Joy's Memorial Day parade
being held May 27 at 2
PM. Area church and civic
organizations have been
invited to enter a float in
the parade. Floats must be
decorated in accordance
with the theme ‘‘Pride in
Our Past’’ to be eligible for
monetary prizes.

an exciting week-end. The
Historical Society is holding
a craft and hobby show,
Jaycee Carnival is schedul-
ed for May 19&20 and May
26&27, Girls’ Softball Tour-
nament begins the 26th.
