James Buller is the King, and Kristen Landers is the Queen. Each received a $25 savings bond and flowers, compliments of the Joycee -ettes, who sponsored the event. Mrs. Nettie Germer, the Donegal School Nurse, also got some money— $415, for the use of the Donegal Dental Clinic. Mrs. Germer appeared very pleased to receive the donation, which will help children keep Their Highnesses, the Sweetheart King and Queen: Kristen Landers. The $415 was raised by the penny voting for the contest candidates. The king, James Buller, is the son of Patricia Buller, 560 W. Main St., Mount Joy. Runners-up to the Queen were: Jody Weaver, daugh- ter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Weaver, RD2, Mount Joy; 2nd, Stephanie Stoner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stoner, 25 N. Barbara St., Mount Joy. The runners-up got gifts. The 30-contestant event was chaired by JoAnn Frymoyer and Sue Thomas, assisted by Vickie Brown and Cindy Stoner. The Joycee-ettes wish to extend their appreciation to the candidates, their par- ents, participating busi- nesses, and all who helped make the project a success.
