Sci-fi writer exhibits paintings Local artist Pat Spath of Marietta is currently exhi- bited in the Mount Joy Library. Her seven works will be there till the end of the month. Pat does mostly portraits and illustrations in acrylic or pen and ink. Most of the exhibited paintings are for sale. She attended Mohawk Valley Community College in New York, where she studied advertising design and production (she is a native of Pulaski, NY). She works writing stories and doing illustrations for the science fiction magazine Antithesis. Pat’s works can be seen between 3 PM and 9 PM weekdays, the normal library hours. The library is located at 22 E. Main St., Mount Joy. You are invited to take out a book as well as look at the art. The Mount Joy Library depends on its patrons for financial support.
