Due to inclement weather the caroling was canceled. Bev Swanson and Jackie Thomas were guests for the evening. Following the business meeting, gifts were exchanged and re- freshments served. The club donated money to the Mount Joy Christmas lights fund. President Sandy Meckley thanked all the girls who helped make the cookie exchange and Thanksgiving food basket successful. With the new year here, the Joycee-ettes are plan- ning several events. The Woman of the Year award will be presented at the Jaycee D.S.A. banquet on January 21st. On February 11th, the annual Sweetheart contest crown- ing will be held and a sweetheart social for the club members and their husbands will be held that evening. A joint business meeting with the Welcome Wagon Club is scheduled for February 15th at the Mount Joy American Legion. The club will decide at the January meeting whether a float will be entered in the Memorial Day Parade. Sally Bishop, a dietician at the Norlanco center, will be the guest speaker for the January meeting. King St., York, died at 7 p.m. Saturday in Reading Hospital after an illness of several months. He was the the late Sullenberger, Born in Denver, Lancas- ter County, he was a son of the late John and Frances Breneisen Pott. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Obituaries Cliurch, Marietta. He was a salesman, retiring five years ago. He was a member of Lodge 43, Free and Accepted Ma- sons, Royal Arch Chapter, Goodwin Council, Lancaster Commandry and Zembo Temple, Harrisburg.
