Leonard was tops among the 142 people who gradu- ated on Dec. 3rd. He is also the only one from our township. Daniel Strohm enlists in Air Force Daniel Strohm, the son of Mrs. Maryann G. Penwell of 120 E. Hazel Ave., Marietta, recently enlisted in the Air Force. When he completes basic training at Lackland base, he will be trained as a weather observer. Dan is a "77 DHS grad. He will also be earning credits toward an asso- ciate degree in applied science through the Air Force Community College. Tim Eshleman named class representative Tim Eshleman, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Eshleman of RD2 Mount Joy, has been named to the Juniata College ‘‘Church -College Relations Board.” He will serve as the junior class representative on the board, whose purpose is to maintain the relationship between the college and the Church of the Brethren. There has been a special relationship between the two since the school was founded. Tim is an electronics engineering major at Jun- iata. He is also a member of the college’s Concert Choir, Inter-Varsity Chris- tain Fellowship, the Depu- tation Club, Circle K Club, Barbershop Quartet, and the Juniata Board of Trus- tees (student representa- tive). Charles Brinkman completes basic training Charles Brinkman, son of Mrs. Judith R. Axe of 553 W. Market St., Marietta, has been assigned to Chanute Air Force Base, Ill., after completing basic training. Charles received special training during boot camp in human relations. He will now get trained in his specialty, aircraft equip- ment maintenance.
