Wain New plant manager at Armstrong Donald J. Wain, mana- ger of Corlon production at Armstrong’s Lancaster plant, will succeed Donald H. Betty as general plant manager of the Marietta Ceiling plant on January 15th. Betty has served in Marietta since the plant opened in 1970, and he will be joining Armstrong’s International Operations, in an unannounced capacity. Mr. Wain, of 1946 Eden Road, Lancaster, is a chemical engineer. He has been with Armstrong since 1959. Before his job in Corlon production, he was in charge of maintenance and engineering at the Lancaster plant, and before that worked in employee relations. John, the son of Dr. and Mrs. Harold Fellenbaum of 30 S. Market in Mount Joy, is a sophomore at Moravian College in Bethlehem. His 6 coach describes him as ‘‘a steady ball-handling and shooting guard with excel- lent defensive capabilities. He is extremely fundamen- tally sound.”’ John was Most Valuable Player in his senior year at DHS under coach . Emil Swift. He was also co -captain, All-County, and All-Section. John measures 6’2’, 170 lbs. Jaycee Week in Mount Joy The Mount Joy Jaycees will observe National Jay- cee Week during the week of January 15-21, 1978. The finale of this week-long observation will be the dis- tinguished service award banquet, at which time a local young man will be recognised for his services to the community and his personal development, with particular emphasis on the year 1977. The Jaycees want the people of Mount Joy to make nominations for this award. Do you know a young man whom you think deserves this honor? If so, High.
