Stauffer Biscuit Co. Inc. and formerly was employed by the former Service Glass Co. He was a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, York, and Ame- rican Philatelic Society. Born in Mount Joy, he was a son of John L. and Mary Schneider Schroll. In addition to his widow, and parents, of Mount Joy, he is survived by two sons, W. Richard, at home, and Gerry E., of York, and a brother, Asher, of Mount Joy. CATHERINE WINTERMYER Catherine H. Winter- myer, 69, of 90 E. Main St., Mount Joy, died unexpectedly at Lancaster General Hospital Saturday night. She had been under a physician’s care. A lifelong resident of Mount Joy, she retired in 1965 after having worked as a production worker for New Standard Corp. and AMP Inc., both of Mount Joy. She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Mount Joy. Born in Mount Joy, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Lizzie Hartranft Wintermyer. Surviving are a son, Marshall A. Dussinger, Lancaster: a daughter, Betty, wife of John E. Wolgemuth, Syracuse, N.Y.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchil- dren, and a sister, Eli- zabeth Wintermyer, Rheems. E. FRANCEANNA STONER E. Discuss the prohibition of right turns at red lights in the Borough. OBITUARIES home of natural causes sometime Tuesday. Dr. Miles Newman, deputy coroner, pronounced her dead Wednesday, at 9 p.m. after she was found at her home. An autopsy has been ordered by Dr. Newman to determine exact cause of death. : A member of Mount Joy Trinity Lutheran Church, Miss Stoner was born in Mount Joy and lived there her entire life-time. She was the daughter of the late Silas K. and Myrtle Beatty Stoner. She is survived by two aunts and three cousins. FRANKLIN ACHENBACH Franklin C. Achenbach, 61, of Bainbridge R1, died Tuesday afternoon at his home unexpectedly. He had been ill since Sunday. Born in Elizabethtown, he was a son of the late Aaron and Nettie Wormley Achenbach. A member of the Bainbridge Church of God, he was also a veteran of World War II. He was employed as a service technician for Bill Miller Ford Company, former Garber Motor Co., Eliza- bethtown, for 28 years. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 596. He and his wife cele- brated their 37th wedding anniversary in July. Surviving besides his widow are a son, Leroy C. Achenbach, Marietta; the daughters: Judith G., wife of Frank Grove, Hummels- town; and all at home, Sandra J., Sherry M., Gerry K. and Trudy J. Achenbach. Also surviving are seven grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two sis- ters: Minerva, wife of Dr. Richard Keiper, Elizabeth- town; and Jeanette, wife of Charles Siegel, Lancaster. REUBEN S. KENDIG Reuben S. Kendig, 83, Marietta R1, died Monday morning at Baily Nursing Home, Elizabethtown. He was the husband of the late Lazzie E. Miller Kendig and the late Mary Shireman Kendig. Before retirement he was employed 25 years at Klein’s Chocolate factory, now M&M Mars Inc, Elizabethtown. He was a member of Maytown Church of God; Elizabethtown and May- town Fire Companies, and Golden Age Club of Maytown. Born in Conoy Township, he was a son of the late Samuel and Sophia Siple Kendig. He is survived by two sons and three daughters; J. Maurice, Elizabethtown; R. Wilbur, Orange, Tex.; Edythe, wife of Richard Heisey, Elizabethtown; Erma, wife of John McCall, Lititz, and Mary Faye, wife of Edward Frey, Cohocton, N.Y.
