The bride is the daughter of Mrs. and Mr. Kenneth Nissley, 612 Wood Street, Mount Joy. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Frey, 120 New Haven Street, Mount Joy. Given in marriage by her father in the double ring ceremony, The bride wore an organza over taffeta gown with a bodice of Venise Lace, with a Queen Anne neckline. The short puffy sleeves and train were trimmed with white daisy appliques, and her three-tiered illusion veil was attached to a daisy headpiece. She carried a bouquet of yellow and white daisies. Miss Anne Spangler was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Connie Keichner, Deborah Nissley, Kathy White, and Mary Over. Stan Frey served as best man for his brother, and ushers were Daniel Hays, Bill Martin, Ray Fedorko, and Tom Hallett. Keith Smith, on organ, accompanied Gloria Longe- necker in a solo. This year the show is entitled, ‘““Harmony in Storybook Land’’ and it features members dressed as nursery rhyme and storybook characters. Mount Joy girls made a clean sweep at the Lancas- ter County Poultry Queen contest held at the Farm and Home Center in Lancaster last week. Beverly Kay Garber, Mount Joy R.D. 3, is Poultry Queen. Seventeen year old Beverly is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Garber, who raise about 110,000 pullets yearly. Alternate queen is Christine Erb, 20, of Mount Joy R.D..1. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur N. Erb, who raise 50,000 layers a year. Obviously, both families have something to crow about.
