He was named Wednes- day night, July 13, at the monthly meeting of the organization, to fill the un- expired term of John M. Booth, who had resigned as Obituaries ROBERT H. MOORE Robert H. Moore, 60, of 226 E. Front St., Marietta, formerly of Columbia, died Sunday at 8:45 a.m. at Lancaster Osteopathic Hos- pital after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of the late Janet Herr Moore, who died in 1974. He was retired from Herr and Sacco Contractors of Landisville. Baptized in the Christian faith, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and was a member of Chickies Rock Lodge 307, Loyal Order of Moose, Columbia. He was also a member of Susquehanna Beneficial and Social Association of Marietta; American Legion Post 372, Columbia; For- esters of America, Colum- bia; Columbia Hunting Camp, and Seagrave Social Club, Marietta. Born in Columbia, he was a son of the late John E. and Emily Fisher Moore. Surviving are three sons and two daughters, David L. Kleinfelter Sr., Eliza- bethtown; Robert B., Mari- etta, and Jeffrey S. at home; Barbara A., wife of James M. Floyd, Elizabeth- town, and Mrs. Sharon K. Shoff, with whom he ‘resid- ed. N Also surviving are eight grandchildren; one brother, president at a previous meeting for health reasons. Booth had headed the organization for approxim- ately 20 years. Ginder, who had been serving the past year as vice-president, also is a member of the Advisory Board, Commonwealth National Bank, Elizabeth- Russell, Columbia R2, and six sisters, Mrs. Mary Aucoin; Edith, wife of Harold Albright, and Blanche, wife of Emil Helm, all of Columbia; Mrs. Emily Schmid, Lan- caster; Florence, wife of James Findley, Washington Boro, and Margaret, wife of Simon Cramer, Cones- toga. REV. GRAYBILL The Rev. Melvin M. Graybill, a pastor at Mount Joy Mennonite Church, died Tuesday at 5:45 p.m. at Lancaster General Hos- pital after an illness of two weeks. Rev. Graybill, who was 54, lived at Mount Joy R1, and was the husband of Dorothy Brubaker Graybill. A member of the church, he served as pastor there for three years. Rev. Graybill was also a sales and personnel man- ager for R.W. Sauder, Lititz, and he was secretary of Lancaster Conference Brotherly Aid. Born in New Holland, he was a son of the late Ira I. and Nora Martin Graybill. Surviving besides his widow are a daughter, Joan B., wife of John L. Horst, Harrisonburg, Va., and two sons, Robert B., Columbia, Md., and Dale B., at home. Also surviving are two grandchildren; a brother S. town office. Also elected last week as new Building and Loan vice-president was Richard A. Rainbolt. Other officers include Robert E. Kline, secretary and George H. Keener, treasurer. Siegrist, Lititz R3; Alma E., wife of Aaron Harbold, Mountville; Ruth I. Smith, York, and Mildred, wife of David Tillman, Fairfax, Va. MRS. MARY PENWELL Mrs. Mary M. Penwell, 41, of 7 Decatur St. Marietta, who was killed Tuesday afternoon when a truck skidded into her car on Marietta Pike in West Hempfield Township, was the widow of Harvey O. Penwell, who died in 1970. She was employed part- time by Conrad, Penwell, and Lightcap Corp., of Marietta. A member of English United Presbyter- ian Church, Marietta, she was a member of the adult Sunday school class. Born in West Hempfield Township, she was a daughter of John H. and Freda Kline Conrad, Col- umbia R1. She was the mother of two daughters: Beth Marie, 12, and Ruth Ann, 9. Besides her parents, and daughters, she is survived by two stepdaughters, Kar- en Penwell, Harrisonburg, Va., and Sarah Ann Pen- well, address unknown, and two sisters, Mable, wife of Albert R.
