Thome, Splain get MD Patricia Thome recently received her degree as Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Phila- delphia College of Osteo- pathic Medicine. She will intern at Lancaster Osteo- pathic Hospital. Her husband, Martin Thome, of Mount Joy, will graduate from the college next year. Martin is the sixth in a line of Lancaster County physi- cians. Also graduated from the same school, and with the same degree, is Dennis Splain, son of Robert Splain of Marietta. He will intern in Harrisburg. Becky Zimmerman iS new majorette Becky Zimmerman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Zimmerman, Jr., 122 S. Barbara Street, Mount Joy, has been se- lected as Drum Majorette of the Donegal High School marching band. The high school junior has been a member of both the junior high school band, and the senior high school band for two years. She plays tenor sax in marching and basoon in concert bands. She also plays piano. She partici- pates in chorus, rhythm singers and dramatics club. Miss Zimmerman is a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Mount Joy where she serves as a cantor and is a member of tke choir.
