Brinkman Jr., son of Mrs. Judith Axe of Bainbridge, enlisted in the U.S. Air Force’s Delayed Enlistment Program recent- ly, according to Air Force recruiter, TSgt Jim Elling- ton. Brinkman will graduate in June 1977 from Eliza- bethtown High School and is scheduled for enlistment in the Regular Air Force October 12. Graduation exercises were held Saturday, May 14th in the Cambell Memorial Au- ditorium at the hospital. Graduates from this pro- gram will be eligible for obtaining R.N. licensure upon passing State Board exams in July. She is a 1974 graduate of Donegal High School. MAYTOWN LA Marietta May 25, 1977 Memorial Day celebrations Ralph Youtz of Marietta, District Foreman for PP&L, will be the speaker for the Marietta Memorial Day celebration on Monday, May 30. The parade will form at Riverview Elementary School at 11:30 a.m. and will march down Market Services will be held in the cemetery in memory of all veterans. The parade is sponsored by William Brenner of Post #466, American Legion, and Zink-Penwell VFW Post #5861. Ceremonies at the cem- etery will include the In- vocation and Benediction by the Reverend Aristede Red, the speech by Ralph Youtz and grave decorat- ing. The Bainbridge and Co- lumbia High School Bands will participate, as well as the Columbia National Guards, 105 Howitzers girl and boy scouts, Marietta Youth Athletic Association and coaches, and boro officials. Veterans have been in- vited to participate. CPR course Marietta Ambulance crewmen certified Seven members of the Marietta Area Ambulance Association personnel com- pleted a course in Cardio- Pulmanary Resusitation at the Marietta Community House on Sunday, May 22.
