Curtis Funk finishes Army vehicle course Army Private Curtis L. Funk, son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Z. Funk, 409 Delta Street, Mount Joy, recently | completed an eight-week tracked vehicle mechanic course at the U.S. Army. Armor School, Ft. Knox, KY. During the course, stu- dents were trained to re- pair engines, transmissions and the fuel, electrical and hydraulic systems of the Army’s tracked vehicles. They also learned to per- form recovery operations for abandoned, damaged, disabled or mired vehicles. The private entered the Army in October 1976. Pvt. Funk is a 1976 graduate of Donegal High School. Kenneth Trostle is assigned to 1st Div. Army Private Kenneth L. Trostle, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth L. Trostle Sr., Route 1, Bainbridge, recently was assigned to the 1st Infantry Division at Ft. Riley, Kan. Pvt. Trostle is a member of Company A of the division’s 1st Engineer Bat- talion. The private entered the Army in November 1976. He is a 1973 graduate of Juniata Valley High School, Petersburg, PA. Thome, of the mathematics depart- ment of Donegal High School has announced the standing of Donegal stu- dents in a recent High School Mathematics Con- test conducted by Millers- ville State College. Donegal placed 7th out of 23 participating schools in a S county area. The Donegal math team consisted of seniors Jenni- fer Neiss and Barbara Lan- dis and sophomore Robert Pekarek. Star clusters North Museum at Frank- lin and Marshall College has resumed its normal \ operating schedule after being closed to the public most of January and Feb- ruary due to the energy crisis. Director W. Fred Kinsey said the museum, located at the corner of College and Buchanan Avenues, is open to the public from 9 a.m. to S p.m., Wednesday to Saturday, and from 1:30 to S p.m., on Sunday. The March planetarium show is ‘‘Nebulae and Star ‘ Clusters.” It is offered on Saturdays at 3 p.m., and on Sundays at 2 and 3 p.m. There is no admission charge to visit the museum or to see the planetarium program. Ronald L. Bishop Marine Lance Corporal Ronald L. Bishop, son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Hinkle of 580 E. Market St., Marietta has reported for duty with the 3D Mar- ine Division, Okinawa. He joined the Marine Corps in May 1976.
