Junior high kids will start playing at 2 p-m., March 4. They'll keep going until they drop. (If they don’t drop, the games will end at noon, March 6. Money raised by. the marathon will pay for trade school or college courses for DHS graduates. DEA president Ted Greider urges everyone to pledge money to the athletic young fund-raiser. *‘This is a chance for the concerned citizens of the district to help local kids,”’ Ted says. ‘‘The marathon is one more example of how much teachers really care about the kids.” Ted and Walt Price are faculty advisors to the project. They won’t get to sleep until the kids wear out. Janice Rodgers wins art award Janice Rodgers, a DHS student, won an art award at the Lancaster County Scholastic Art Awards Competition.
