Ebersole was elected the 11th Pres- ident of Elizabethtown Col- lege Saturday during a special meeting of the Board of Trustees on the campus. Now Dean of the Gradu- ate School and Associate Vice President for Academ- ic Affairs at Temple Uni- versity, Dr. Ebersole will assume his duties at Eliz- abethtown July 1. dent Mays assumed his duties October 1, 1966. Dr. Ebersole holds de- grees from Elizabethtown College (B.S., 1943), Cro- zer Theological Seminary (B.D., 1946), the University of Pennsylvania (M.A. 1948), and Columbia Uni- versity (Ph. D., 1952). He was granted an honorary Doctor of Laws degree by Elizabethtown in 1969. He has been associated in the footsteps of his father-in-law, the late Dr. A.C. Baugher, who was President of the College from 1941 to 1961, when he retired. He is married to the former Dorothy Baugher and currently resides in Princeton, N.J. The Eber- soles have two children.
