Rich, 206 North President Avenue, Lancaster from the Marietta Regional Board. A graduate of West Point and the Harvard School of Business Administration, he came to Marietta in 1940 to enter the Donegal Mutual Insurance Com- pany; which was founded by his grand father. Rich became a member of the Board of Directors of the Exchange National Bank of Marietta in 1946 and was named president in 1950. He served as president of the combined boards of directors of the Exchange National Bank and the First National Bank of Marietta following the merger of the two banks in 1960. When the First National Bank of Marietta consolidated with Farmers First Bank, in 1963, Rich assumed the duties of Chairman of the Regional Board; a position held until his resignation. John S. Hiestand, May- town, a member of the Board of Directors of Far- mers First Bank, has been appointed to succeed Rich as Chairman of the Mariet- ta Regional Board. Don Whitman excells Don L. Witman, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. Martin Witman, R.D. 1, Marietta, had been named to the Dean’s List at Elizabeth- town College for the fall semester. Dean’s List honors re- quire a minimum average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Witman is a sophomore majoring in music educa- tion.
