Youth activities The Youth Fellowship of St. Mark’s United Metho-- dist Church, Mount Joy, Have a full program of events scheduled for the month of January, 1977. The regular Wednesday evening fellowship hours (from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.) feature the theme ‘‘New Year’s Resolutions’’ (Sth), a visit to the Old Testa- ment Tabernacle Reproduc- tion in Lancaster (12th), a ““Game Nite’ (19th), and the film, ‘‘Eighteen”’ (26th). In addition to these programs there are several other special activities dur- ing Jdnuary. One is a Saturday visit (8th) to Messiah College. Another is a Friday Night Swim Party at Golden Meadows (22nd). The youth will also join the entire church and community in viewing the new film, ‘‘Carrie,”” on Sunday evening, Jan. 30th. The youth of St. Mark’s include those in Junior and Senior High. They are under the capable leader- ship of Miss Sharon Givler, St. Mark’s Associate in Ministry and a fine group of adult advisors. Dedication services On Sunday, January 9, the Hempfield Church of the Brethren will start a series of dedication ser- vices. The leader of the Sunday morning service will be Rev. Charles M. Bieber, pastor of the Black Rock Church of the Breth- ren. The Rev. Earl K. Ziegler, pastor of the Mechanic Grove Church of the Brethren, will lead the Sunday evening service.
