Mull Calvin E. Mull, 8S, formerly of 516 East Front Street, Marietta, died Tues day at 2:50 p.m., at Nipple’s Convalescent Home, Liverpool, Snyder County, after an illness of several weeks. He leaves 14S survivors. A retired farmer, he was baptized into the Lutheran Faith. He was the husband of the late Annie E. Maurer Mull. Born in Snyder County, he was a son of the late William A. and Catherine Houser Mull. Surviving are these sons and daughters: Marie, wife of Norman Scholl, Middletown RI]; Helen, wife of Charles Scholl, Marietta; Esther, wife of Charles Swartz- Selinsgrove; Mar- garet, wife of James Pringle, Denver, Colo.; Agnes, wife of Paul Mar- kel, Columbia; Anna, wife Richard Haines, Mount Pleasant Mills; Grace, wife of Donald Brosuis, Sun- bury. Sons: Clarence, North- umberland R1; Glenn, Mount Joy; Oscar and Marlin, both of Marietta. Patton, 85, of 1020 Linglestown Road, formerly of Marietta, died Tuesday, at 1:15 a.m., at the Blue Ridge Haven East Convalescent Center, Harrisburg. He was a patient there for two years. He was the husband of the late Crystal Hipple Patton, who died December 1S, 1967. He was born in Columbia, a son of the late Amos and Annie Erb Pat- ton. He retired from the former Olmsted Air Force Base, Middletown, in 1960, and was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Marietta. Surviving are one daugh- ter, Audrey, wife of Lloyd L. Bennett, Harrisburg, with whom he resided; a son, Charles P., East Petersburg; six grandchild- ren; and two brothers, Russell, Columbia, and Mahlon, Elizabethtown. Robert M. Balmer Robert M. Balmer, 54, of Brandy Lane Trailer Vil- lage, Mechanicsburg, formerly of Mount Joy, died unexpectedly at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, Sunday at 10 p.m. He was the husband of Mary Dean Balmer. He had been employed at Mechan- icsburg Naval Depot for the past 23 years. He lived most of his life in the Mount Joy area, moving to Mechanicsburg six years ago. Balmer was a life mem- ber of Mount Joy Veterans of Foreign Wars Post S752; a member of Loyal Order of Moose 596, Elizabethtown, and Friendship Fire Co. 1, Mount Joy. Born in Seville, Perry County, he was a son of the late Harvey and Emma R. Sweger Balmer. Beside his widow, he is survived by three brothers, David A., Harris- burg; Charles E., Dover; and Gerald F., Sebring, Fla., and one sister, Betty, wife of Vernon Shire, Man- heim.
