Florin Fire Company sells battery operated smoke detectors by Glenn Miller The regular monthly meeting of the Florin Fire Company, was held Nov- ember 9, with President Sylvester R. Swords pre- siding. There were 30 members present. Chief Geltmacher report- ed that there were six emergency calls for the month of October. Dates were set for the annual Christmas Tree sales. The sale will run from December 6 through December 23. Hours will be from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. This year three types of trees will be offered: White Pine, Scotch Pine, and Colo. Blue Spruce.
