In the first game the score was 1S to 7 and in the second game the score was 15 to S. The teams were: Herr’s J. : Rice, S. Rice, E. Rapp, J. Martin, T. Martin, J. Kendig, B. Shank and M. Hilton. The next match will be played on November 14, when Big “‘L’’ will play Robert's Sporting Goods and Circle Creek will play Herr’s Fruit Market. Eli Tschudy died Sat. Eli H. Tschudy, S57, of 921 N. Prince St., deed in Lebanon Veterans Hospital Saturday after a long ill- ness. He was married to Mary Binkley Tschudy. Mr. Tschudy was born in Marietta, the son of the late Eli Tschudy and Georgeanna Kise Tschudy Blottenberger. He was retired on disa- bility from the Penn Cen- tral Railroad where he worked as a brakeman. He was a member of the Episcopal faith and served in the U.S. Air Force as a sergeant with the 12th Bomber Group in World War II in Europe. He was a member of the Mountville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8757 and the Red Rose Chapter, Sports Hall of Fame. In addition to his widow of Manheim, R. D. 1, he is survived by five stepchild- ren: Betty, wife of Kenneth Smith; Betty J., wife of Michael G. Delmotte, Manheim, Susanne, wife of Kenneth Thompson, Lititz R.D. 3; James R. Miller, Manheim R.D. S; Ronald E. Miller, Manheim R.D. 3; nine stepgrandchildren, and a sister, Jane, wife of Harold Mumma, Columbia. Fire company meets Friendship Fire Co.
