Catho- lic Church, Marietta with Father Joseph Gotwalt officiating. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Meszaros, 39 West Walnut Street, Marietta, is a grad- uate - of Donegal High School and is attending Shippensburg State College majoring in Elementary Education. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ammon Smith, 807 West Main Street, Mount Joy. He is a graduate of Donegal High School and served in the U.S. Army for three years. He will attend Shippensburg State College to major in Political Science. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of dacron organza over taffeta. The bodice featured a venice lace high neckline and a V-shaped sheer yoke. Long slender sleeves were trimmed by brussels lace at the wrists. The natural waistline was trimmed by brussels lace and featured a slightly gathered skirt that was adorned by a brussels lace flounce and venice lace appliques. A chapel length train completed the gown. A matching waistlength mantilla of English net edged with venice lace that was attached to a Juliet cap accented by venice lace was also worn. Miss Susan Meszaros, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Tyanne Marchand, St. Louis, MO; Miss Pat Brown, Mount Joy; Miss Deb Nykun, Great Meadows, NJ; with Miss Terri Meszaros, sister of the bride, serving as junior bridesmaid. Miss Julie Leet, cousin of the bridegroom, was flower girl. Les Engle, Mount Joy, served as best man. Ushers were Dennis Brown, Mount Joy; Pat Farrell, North Bergen, NJ; Jay Loraw, Mount Joy; and Joseph Meszaros, brother of the bride. Tim Leet, cousin of the bridegroom, was ring bearer. Serving as alter boys were Steve Meszaros, brother of the bride, and Todd Butz, Marietta. Organist was Fran Pay- dock, Co'umbia. Jill Austin, Neffsville, and Lisa Tarquin, Mechanicsburg, were vocalists and guitar- ists. Following a reception at the Mount Joy American Legion, the couple left on a wedding trip to Vermont. They will reside in Ship- pensburg. Deborah Crankshaw marries John Gepfer The marriage of Deborah A. Crankshaw to John L. Gepfer took place Saturday, August 7, at 7 p.m., at the Maytown Church of God, Maytown with Pastor Ed- ward Rosenberry officiating minister. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick S. Crankshaw, 215 South Arnold Street, Maytown. She was a 1973 graduate from Donegal High School and is a senior at Eliza- bethtown College. She is employed by Middletown Merchandise Mart in the office. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd H. Gepfer, R.D #3, Man- heim. He was a 1972 graduate of Elizabethtown High School and is em- ployed by NCR Systemedia Corp., Mount Joy. Given in marriage by her father, Marlene Houser, R.D. #1, Marietta, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Terri Ibaugh, R.D. #1, Marietta and Bonnie Arnold, May- town. Jr. Bridesmaid was Tamara Gepfer, sister of the groom, R.D. #3, Man- heim. Flower girl was Melanie Gepfer, niece of the groom, Elizabethtown. Serving as best man was Robert Gebhard, Rheems. Ushers were David Gepfer, brother of the groom, R.D. #3, Manheim and David Crankshaw, ‘brother of the bride, Maytown.
