Page 12 - SUSQUEHANNA TIMES Officers named for Donegal School band Randy McCoy Becky Ruhl Barbara Landis Officers have been elect- ed for the next term for the Donegal Band. The names of the new officers were announced at the regular band parents meeting in the Donegal cafeteria. They are: Randy McCoy, presi- dent; Holly Baker, vice- president; Cindy Emen- heiser, secretary; Becky Ruhl, treasurer, and Bar- bara Landis, historian. A tenative schedule of events for the marching band and concert band follows: Spring Band Con- cert, April 23; Concert band assembly, April 22; Marietta Halloween parade, October 28; Mount Joy Halloween parade, October 30; downtown Harrisburg parade (competition) November 20; Quarryville Farm Show parade, September 13; Ephrata Farm Show parade, September 23. A paper drive is planned for September so residents are urged to collect scrap paper. Volunteers who own trucks are needed to haul Holly Baker Cindy Emenheiser the scrap paper from each community in the school district. Earl Brightbill, chairman of the collection committee, may be con- tacted for information. Band members will re- peat the Heath Candy sale when school starts and will attend band camp at Gettysburg College the week of 16-21. Directors were for the Donegal Parents club. Mrs. Paul Hay will serve as president; Mrs. Banks Wagner, secretary; Mrs. Richard McKain, treasurer, and Earl Brightbill, vice- president. The additional directors are Mrs. Joseph Portner, Elwood Mateer, Mary Eberly, Mrs. Hen- drix, Mrs. John Eyer, G. Oberholtzer, Mrs. R. Schatz, and Mrs. A. Brick- er. Students make dean’s list Four Mount Joy area re- sidents were among 735 Millersville State College students who were named to the Dean’s List for the Spring semester. Two Mount Joy residents were among 163 students who attained a perfect 4.0 average, or all "**A’s.” They are: Ronald E. Lutz, R.D.#1, Mount Joy; and Cynthia L. Myers, 116 South Barbara Street, Mount Joy. Two other Mount Joy residents named to the Dean’s List are Gabriele E. Amersbach, R.D.#1; and Jayne B.
