COMMUNITY RELIGION SERVICE by Elsie McClosky There will be a Community Religion Service held in the ‘open air’’ in ‘The Dell’ behind the Riverview Elementary School, Marietta, on Sunday Evening, July 11th at 7 p.m. This will be a Community Service with all the area churches participating. Members of the Pastor’s Class, who have been engaged in weekly instruction since October of 1975-having been tested and interview- ed-will present themselves for the- celebration of their Confirmation and Reception into the Christian Church. Members of this year’s class are as follows: Julie Barnhart, Betsy Germer, Theresa Good, Cindy Heagy, Scott Hoover, Terry Kuhn, Steve Kunkle, Craig Lehman, Benjamin Keller, Drew Martin, Duane Mus- ser, Kris Piersol, Cindy Robinson, Lori Sagerer, Roxanne Shank, and Georgiann Westerman. As part of its preparation for full membership the class has both attended and participated regularly in worship, they have done projects, and they have taken an all-day class tour to Philadelphia. The Pastor will conduct the worship service. Parents will assist in the laying-on of hands. A new study Bible will be the congregation’s token of appreciation and of encour agement to the young people. A message en- titled, ‘‘What Is Your Heart Condition?’’, will be given by the Rev. Kohler. The Chancel Choir of the church will provide special music. The con- gregation will share in much of the liturgy of the day.
