Letter to editor Dear Editor The Donegal Elementary Reading Teachers would like to express our sincere appreciation for your cover- age of Project D.A.R.E.. the program ended last Friday, May 14. At that time the following number of awards had been presented to students in each building. Grandview - 73; Maytown - 114; Riverview - 116; and Seiler - 88. Every child who received an award had his picture in your paper, sometimes two or three times. The pictures were a tremendous incen- tive for the children. We are thrilled with the success of this project and fully realize that we owe a large portion of that success to the Susquehanna Times. The other portion of that success we owe to the children who worked so hard to cemplete their require- ments and to the parents and teachers who encour- aged them. At student request we plan to run a similar project next year. Until then, thank you again for your weekly visits, often at very, short notice, and your over-all interest in the coverage of all school activities.
