Sunday schedule will Friendship Friendship Fire Company No. 1, Mount Joy held its monthly meeting April 1 at 7:30 p.m. The Chief, Frank Good, reported 7 fire calls and 4 service calls for March. The ambulance commit- tee reported that an intense training session will begin April 4 and continue inde- be from 1 to 6 p.m. Tickets will be $.75 each and may be purchased at the door. Persons hoping to ex- hibit either crafts or hobbies will be admitted without charge. However, those who demonstrate crafts to be offered for sale will be expected to contribute a small fee. Persons whom an exhibitor may con- tact are Kathryn Heisey, chairman; Jane Drenner, Patricia Eicherly, Sandra Grove, Mildren Roberts, Mary Sarver, Helen Schule or Ruth Sinegar. No. 1 holds meeting finitely. The course will be instructed by Dr. Miles Newman. In deferred business dis- cussion was held on a fund drive letter. The letter will be sent out in the near future. In new business the com- pany decided to sponsor the Hoxy Brothers Circus on September 30. The depart- ment approved the purchase of flashlight extensions for the fire police and a budget for a rescue training course.
