When 1 was driving
around the town of Marietta
I saw American flags that
are in very bad shape. This I
think is terrible. If a
person doesn’t want to fly a
flag that is in good shape,
then I don’t think that he
should fly one at all. If they
are too cheap to buy a good
flay, I think they are very
poor Americans. You know,
I love America and what it
stands for. If I have a flag
that is in bad shape I would
do away with it and buy a
new one. You know you can
buy a flag for $3.00 to $4.00
dollars. This isn’t too much
to pay to show that you are
an American. I hope the
people who have these flags
will read this letter.
