DHS Chorus to sing in churches The Donegal High School Chorus, under the direction of Mrs. R. J. Lau, will present its second religious concert at Zion Lutheran Church, Route 441 and Colebrook Road in Marietta on Sunday, March 7 at 7 p.m. Soloists will be Michael Kohler, Mary Kanoff, and Karen Henry. A senior class quartet consisting of Ted Hershey, Kathy Jones, Jane Youtz, and Steve Hassinger will sing ‘“‘He.”’ County chorus members will present a special num- ber entitled ‘‘Elijah Rock.” Chorus members are Jenny and Mike Kohler, Mary Kanoff, Cindy Charles, Holly Baker, Ted Hershey, Jim Johnson, Phil Good, Kathy Jones, Keith Gep- hart, Kevin Milligan, and Steve Hassinger. The public is invited. Other church concerts are planned for the Church of God in Maytown on March 21, St. Mark’s in Mount Joy on April 4, and the Cross- road’s Church in Mount Joy on April 25. This I think is terrible. If a person doesn’t want to fly a flag that is in good shape, then I don’t think that he should fly one at all. If they are too cheap to buy a good flay, I think they are very poor Americans. You know, I love America and what it stands for. If I have a flag that is in bad shape I would do away with it and buy a new one. You know you can buy a flag for $3.00 to $4.00 dollars. This isn’t too much to pay to show that you are an American.
