Weidman of Mount Joy has been ap- pointed to the board of directors of The Sico Foun- dation, sole stockholder of The Sico Company, Dr. D. L. Biemesderfer, foundation president, recently an- nounced. Weidman, a graduate of East Donegal High School, joins the 10 other directors of The Sico Foundation, which since 1951, has administered $1,108,400 in scholarships to students in the four-state service area of The Sico Company. Weidman is the Eastern regional sales manager for Pioneer Hi-Bred, Inc., of Tipton, Indiana. His civic and community posts in- clude: advisory board di- rector for National Central Bank’s Mount Joy branch, director of the Mount Joy Building and Loan Associa- tion, and director of the Donegal School Board.
