His activity and appear ance led us to inquire about his birth-place, knowledge of the country, &0., when we were convinced that his memory ran back nearly a century. He is active, works at bard labor every day, and will lift as much as any man of bis weight in the city. But judge of our astonishment when he said : Oh, my father will be here in the summer; you'eught to see him ! He stated that his father was actually living in Maryland,at the age of one hundred and twenty years, and be would be in Wil liamsport in the summer, if he lived.
