Vansickle, comprising the firm of Kintnor and Vansickle and as shippers of hay and grain, are doing the largest direct shipping trade of any firm in the United States. Located as they are in Ohio and Indiana they still find time to buy Jersey farms in this beautiful valley and now they have nn acre ae of over 600 acres, all in one body and of that nearly one-half is meadow land of good quality. Mr. Kitchen on Friday last purchased the Salmon W. Bell farm of 100 acres, and will erect the most com plete and uptodote fish hatchery in thoU. S hatching for the U. S. government as well as for indivi duals. They will plant 2000 willows along the streams passing through their lands to beautify the same and for the protection of the speckled beauties. Next summer they will build one of the finest olub houses in the sate, and the site is one com manding n fine view of the valley for miles. The farms will be stocked with cattle, sheep and Angora goats and the stock will be brought from the west, suoh as are not raised in this section and that will do for export trade. Other farms are in view aud the end is not yet. May their efforts meet with success. Game is scarce and high. When it comes to paying a dollar for a partridge, twenty. five cents for a quail, and twenty-five cents for rabbits it is time to fall back on chicken, the best moat of all. F. C. Card of the Hawley Baptist chnroh officiated. The cere mony wtis performed nt the home of the brides parents at 12 o'clock noon and took place under an artistical arranged arch of evergreen and holly. The wedding march was played by Carrie Edwards of Port Jervis. The brido was handsomely attired in a suit of white silk mull trimmed with lace and ribbons and carried a boquet of while chrysan themums. The groom wore the customary black. After the cere mony the guests, about thirty in number, enjoyed an elegant wedding dinner. The home of the newly wedded couple will be in Now York City where Mr. McCoy is employed, a station agent on the elevated rail road. The bride Is one of Kimble's progress) vp young ladies, who will be missed from this place by hor large circle of admiring friends. She is also well known and 'highly es teemed in Hawley, and has been for some years past a devoted member of the Baptist church of that village and an ardent worker in the cause. Those who attended the wedding from out of town were Carrie Ed wards of Port Jervis, Mamie Kellam of Summittvillo, N. Y., Louis and Lucy Rowland, Lena Williams, C. W. Shields and Mrs. James Curran of Hawley, Mr. and Mrs. A. Gris- wold and two sons, F. Cortright of Rowlands, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Holbert, Mr. and Mrs. George Hol bert of Lackawaxen, Joseph McCoy of New London, Conn., Lawrence McCoy of New York and Mrs. John Kirby of Honesdalo.
