Fifty U. 8S. soldiers traveling in U. S. army trueks were present at the meeting and stopped in town from 11 a. m. until 2 p. m. The public school children in charge of their teachers and carrying flags assembled on M street. A large crowd of citizens from this place also gathered to hear the addresses given by Mr. Thomas Brown, Rev.
