Paving in Dallas Borough United Water Pennsylvania is in the process of complet ing or has recently completed water main installation proj- ects on Franklin Street and Pinecrest Avenue in Dallas Borough. Dallas Borough Road Department plans to com- plete overlay pavement on Franklin Street and Pinecrest Avenue in the spring of 2014 in order to adhere to the rec- ommended post-construction waiting period and in light of the unavoidable cold weather limitations. Once a borough road has been resurfaced, the borough will not approve any utility pave cuts (other than for emer- gencies under the roadway) for a period of up to five years. Should residents be consid- ering the installation of water, gas or other utility repairs or improvements, they are advised that any and all util- ity cuts to the roadway will be required to be completed prior to the street resurfacing project and then prohibited for the five-year moratorium noted above. Questions or com- ments should be directed to the Dallas Borough Office at 570-675-1389.
