Middle school science teacher and Scout pareg d Dan Flynn taught the children about air pressu 4 and flight principles as they experimented to find t : ideal amount of water and air to add to their rockets to achieve the highest altitude. They then added nose cones and tail fins to the rockets to improve their flight. The Scouts and their siblings had a blast (pun intended) watching their creations leave the launch pads and float back down to Earth. Pack 281 is sponsored by the Dallas United Methodist Church and provides programs for boys in first through fifth grades.
