In just a few short weeks the annual Back Mountain Memo- rial Library Auction will begin. Set-up dates are Sunday, July 1 through Tuesday, July 3. Tasks include moving tables and dis- play racks and items to the sales tents and in some instances ar- ranging merchandise. Auction dates are from 4 to 11 pm. Thursday, July 5 through Sunday, July 8. Tasks include staffing tents (used books, baked goods, food booth, odds and ends, raffle) and assisting with children’s games. Adults are also needed to help direct traffic in both park- ing areas, at the library and at the satellite lot at the Dallas Shopping Center. Volunteers are needed during the auction to help move items to the auc- tion block and to the pickup ar- ea and runners to take smaller purchased items from the auc- tion block to the winning bid- ders.
