St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Dallas is hosting this year’s Vacation Bible School, “Sky,” from 6 to 8 "p.m. June 17-21 with dinner provided at 5:30 p.m. each day. All children between the ages of 3 and 10 are invited to attend this free event which features age-appropri- ate songs, games, crafts, Bi- ble study and a short movie. This year’s group will go on a safari with music, mission, games, crafts, skits, snacks and a lesson. DENNIS - Harold Franklin, 87, of Lake Carey, Tunkhannock, died Friday, May 18, 2012, at Tyl- er Hospital, Tunkhannock. He was born in Noxen on Octo- ber 25,1924, and served in the Ar- my Heavy Artillery during World War II. He worked for AT&T in New Jersey. After retiring, he moved to Lake Carey.
