Karen Boback (R-Co- lumbia/Luzerne/ Wyoming) encourages area students inter- ested in pursuing environmen- tal and conservation careers to apply for the Exploring Careers Outdoors (ECO) Camp admin- istered by the Department of Conservation and Natural Re- sources (DCNR). The free program accommo- dates 20 to 25 students in grades 10-12. Applications for the six-day camp are due by April 1. The overnight camp be- gins on Sunday, July 8 at Kirby Episcopal House and Chapel in Glen Summit. Participants will take part in wildlife conservation projects, stream sampling, team-build- ing experiences and other skill- building activities.
