Registration starts at 8 a.m. with the show to begin at 10 a.m. First, second and third- place trophies will be award- ed in 30 classes. Registration for a car and driver is $10 and $12. Regis- tration for a car corral or display only is $5. Flea mar- ket space, approximately a 10 x 20 area, is $15. Spectator admission is $3 for adults while children under the age of 12 will be admitted free of charge. A concession stand will offer breakfast and lunch. DHS Lock-In group seeks volunteers The 2012 Dallas High School Lock-In Committee will hold an introductory meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday in the cafeteria of Wycallis Elementary School. The Lock-In is an all-night celebration held on gradua- tion night. It allows graduat- ing seniors a safe place to enjoy games, food, prizes and friendship. Interested parent volun- teers are encouraged to at- tend. This will be the first Lock- In to be held at the new high school. The Lock-In Committee has already secured a booth at the Luzerne County Fair and the Dallas Harvest Fes- tival. Volunteers are needed to staff the booths and also - bake for both events. MU schedules three open house programs Misericordia University is offering three open house - programs on the Back Mountain campus to give students and their parents an opportunity to spend a day touring the 124-acre campus and to meet with students, faculty, coaches and admissions and financial aid counselors. The open houses will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on three Saturdays, Aug. 20, Sept. 17 and Oct. 29. Registration will begin all three days at 9 a.m. in the Anderson Sports and Health Center at the north gate of campus. The open house schedule includes registration, refresh- ments, campus tours, a fac- ulty session and lunch, and meetings with representa- tives of student services, athletics and financial aid.
