Jared boxes are for chron- ically ill children in North- eastern Pennsylvania. They provide a special di- version for young patients in area hospitals as they re- ceive medical treatments. The goal of the project is to lift the spirits of the chil- dren. Sabatini is the son of Rob- ert and Christine Sabatini and is a member of the Na- tional Junior Honor Socie- ty at Dallas Middle School. The Kingston Township Board of Supervisors announces Spring Cleanup 2011 will be held Mon- day, May 2 through Saturday, May 7 at the Kingston Township Pub- lic Works Facility, 225 E. Center St., Shavertown. Hours for Monday, Wednesday and Friday will be 11a.m. to 7 p.m. Hours for Tuesday and Thursday will be 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hours on Saturday will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cleanup is open to King- ston Township residents only. Proof of township residency is re- quired to obtain a permit. All resi- dents are required to obtain a per- mit prior to dropping off any ma- terials in accordance with the fol- lowing fee schedule: Cars/small SUVs: $5/permit (limit 3 trips) $10 (unlimited) Vans/mid-SUVs/small trucks: $10/permit (limit 2 trips), $25 (unlimited) Large trucks/trailers/cargo vans/large SUVs (< 1 ton): $35 / permit (1 trip limit) Vehicles (> 1 ton): $90 / permit (1 trip limit) Residents are encouraged to purchase their permits between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday 2011 through Fri- day, April 29.
