Sue Hand, students paint for ‘Mooseum Dallas artist Sue Hand has an exciting new mural project for The Lands at Hillside Farms flowing from her brush. With the able assistance of two of her advanced high school art stu- dents, Hand is creating an acryl- ic mural montage of images from Hillside Farms. “The barns used to be sage green with pumpkin-colored trim and green and white awn- ings over the windows,” ex- plained Hand. “They look so odd, but it’s historically accu- rate.” The mural will be donated to the new “Mooseum” as part of this year’s team from Leader- ship Wilkes-Barre named, “Team Mooseum Makeover.” Hand was approached by the team to paint and donate the mural for educational purposes. oko epiokt SRE SRIRG 5 EN Excited and challenged by the opportunity, Hand enlisted the help of 1lth-grade students, Chelsea Martin and Kristen Boyle, who are both involved in this year’s Junior Leadership Wilkes-Barre program.
