Sponsors sought for hero project Those looking to sponsor a local service person for the Dallas Lions/Frontier Communications Hometown Hero project will be able to submit forms until Sunday, April 10. The project will honor family members, friends and neighbors who have served or are currently serving in the military on 30-by-60-foot banners to be displayed through- out Dallas Borough starting on Memorial Day and lasting throughout the summer. Banners will feature the name, rank and time of service along with a photo of the military personnel. , Sponsorships cost $200 and can be submitted by family members or local business whose names will be featured on the banner as well.
