Junior Mounts go undefeated; grab Super Bowl crown he Dallas Junior Mounts C team put the finishing touches on another 12-0 undefeated season last Sunday with an 8-0 victory over the Kingston Township Raiders in the Super Bowl at Wyoming Valley West Stadium. : In the third quarter, Todd Phillips hooked up with Jacob Esposito on a 48-yard pass down to the 2-yard line. Phillips scored a touchdown on the next play and the 2-point conversion put the Junior Mounts up, 8-0. That's all the offense Dallas would need as its defense pitched a shutout against the Raiders for the second time this year. Sean Cuba and Steven Newell each had an interception to lead the defense. -* & v Cage club sets tryouts Firm Athletic Basketball Club will hold open tryouts for girls in grades four through nine and for boys in grades five through nine at the King- ston Recreation Center, 655 Third Ave. The first tryout session will be held on Sunday, Dec. 26 at: the following times: 10 to 11:30 a.m. — Girls grades four to six (sixth grade first session) 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Girls grades six and seven (sixth grade second session) 1to 2:45 p.m. — Girls grades eight and nine 2:45 to 4:30 p.m. — Boys grades five to seven 4:30 to 6:15 p.m. — Boys grades seven to nine The second tryout session will be held from 10 to 11:45 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 26 for girls in grades six to eight. The third session will I} held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. oi Sunday, Jan. 2 for boys in grades seven and eight The cost for tryouts will be $15. Participants are not re- quired to attend all sessions.
