Oo All proceeds will benefit The F irst Lieutenant Michael J. Cleary Memorial Fund formed in honor of a Dallas native who was killed in Iraq in an ambush by hostile forces in December 2005. Holiday Craft Show set at TUMC A Holiday Craft Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13 in the Dick- son Education Center of the Trucksville United Methodist Church, Church Road. Holiday Bazaar set The Annual Holiday Bazaar and Luncheon will be held on Saturday, Nov. 13 at the Tunk- hannock United Methodist Church, corner of Main and Marion Streets. Doors open at 10 a.m. There will be a huge selec- tion of handmade items for sale. The Candy Room will offer fruit-flavored and spice- flavored hard candy, cream filled chocolates and a variety of fudge. This year’s luncheon, served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., will feature wimpies, macaroni salad, chips, beverages and dessert. Ham dinner set A Baked Ham Dinner/Bake Sale will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13 at the Loyalville United Metho- dist Church. Cot is $8 for adults and $3.50 for children under the age of 12. Takeouts are available by calling 477-3521 and leaving a message with your name, phone number, number of din- ner requested and pickup time. Soup sale slated A soup sale will be held from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 14 at the Lehman-Idetown Unit- ed Methodist Church, 1011 Mountain View Dr., Lehman. Price is by donation and take-outs will be available. Proceeds will benefit the Shoe- maker Mission Central HUB. Turkey Party and Bingo slated St. Therese’s Church Holy Name Society will sponsor its annual Thanksgiving Turkey Party and Bingo at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 15 in Father Sam- mons Hall at St. Therese’s Church, Pioneer Avenue and Davis Street, Shavertown. Fifteen turkeys will be raffled. Refreshments will include Pizza Perfect pizza, hot dogs, soda, coffee, tea and bottled water. Enjoying St. Therese's annual tea party t. Enter- tainment was provided by the Gate of Heaven Youth Choir and there were baskets for raffle, door pries, tea, fairytale food and a hat contest.
