Organized by Dallas High School student Amelia Pietraccini, the annual Powder Puff Football Game was held Oct. 10 at Mountaineer Stadium with all proceeds being donated to Dallas Mini-Thon which raises money to battle childhood cancer. The offensive line, led by Jus- tus Shultz, Evan May, Ernie Bid- ding, Eric George, Cameron Brennan, Hank Zielenski, Bob Oakley, Mac Fogerty, Collin Mas- ters and Ty Valyo, had a huge day for BMT, opening holes for Justin Mucha, Joey Vigil, Justin Butler and Kyle Katchko. Justin (Willy Mucha) led the rushing attack for BMT. Willy completed two TD passes to Vigil while Mucha added a rushing TD for BMT. Each added a rushing 2- point conversion. | The Bobcats defense dominat- ed the game, holding the power rushing game of KT to minimal yards and only allowing KT one offensive score in the game. The defense was led by Elija Vigil, Brandon Shaw, Randy Za- charias, John Brown, Mason Rios, Jacob Garnett, Corbin Hol- comb, Zach Haddle and Paul Ciaccia. B TEAM Duryea 28 Back Mountain 0 The Back Mountain Bobcats B Team suffered a disappointing 28-0 loss to the Duryea Wildcats. ee LS The offensive line, led by Christopher Allen, Nate Hazel- tine, Bradley Adams, Henry Sel- ingo, Ian Evans, Owen Morgan and Zachary Gabel, did a great job for the running backs. Great runs were made by Stone Mannello, Nick Whitesell, Nate O’Donnell and RJ Driscoll. Man- nello also had a fumble recovery. The defense, led by Jack Syme- on, Ryan Wolken, Kayla Bidding, Zack Hill, Quinten Huey and Nate LaBar, stayed tough. C TEAM Dallas 22 Ed-Lark 6 The Dallas C Team won a hard fought battle against the Ed/ Lark Hurricanes last Sunday, 22-6. The Dallas offense was led by Cole Dewees, who had a break- out game with over 100 yards rushing. Todd Phillips, Sean Cu- ba and Joseph Brennan each scored a touchdown. The Jr. Mounts’ ground attack featured 20 different ball carriers through- out the game. The defense was led by Ryan Maloney, making his first appear- ance in several weeks, Christian Sebastianelli, Johnny Cantando and Alex Kapral. Ed-Lark 6 The Dallas Junior Mounts D team kept its playoff hopes alive and improved to 6-2-1 with a hard-fought 16-6 win over the Ed- Lark Hurricanes. The defense limited the Hurri- canes to one early score and was led by Nick Biniek, Josh Peters, Ethan Sult and Matthew Esposi- to. Fumble recoveries by Alex Hajkowski and Mike Ropietski al- so helped to secure the win. The offense had another great running day. Brennan Eggleston, Matthew Lukasavage and Jared Adamski penetrated the Hurri- cane defense with tremendous blocking by Mark Karcutskie, Joey Peters, Lucas Shultz and Scott Siglin. e) Lu BRIEFS Basketball clinic set The Rock Rec. Center will hold its fifth annual Fall Bas- ketball Clinic for Girls and Boys in kindergarten through sixth grade on Monday and Wednesday evenings, contin uing through October 27. Girls basketball | league planned 4 The Rock Recreation Cep- ter, 340 Carverton Rd. Trucks- ville, will host a Seventh- Grade Fall Girls Basketball League for six weeks through Oct. 28.
